Refine Your Connection 西方沾水筆 - 銅版體書法中級班(4課)
This is an 4 evening (8 hours total) intermediate course to Engrosser's Script, suitable for calligraphers with basic knowledge in dip pen. This course refines your letter connections and spacing and helps you to develop a consistent writing rhythm.
Your instructor, Kalo is the first pen lady in Hong Kong to be awarded the Certificate of Proficiency and the Certificate of Excellence in Engrosser's Script by the IAMPETH (International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting.)
Topic covers postures, pen grip, use of tools, warm up drills, principle strokes, movements, nib manipulation and shading techniques. You will learn to write the minuscules (lowercases) one stroke at a time and develop the muscle memory. The course focuses on technical exercises to achieve consistency in letter connections and spacing. Students will also receive constructive feedback on their homework to further improve their skills.

Level: IMPROVER - *basic knowledge in dip pen calligraphy is required
